Bart grew up in a home filled with dogs, his parents bred whippets. As a young boy in the Netherlands, Bart was often sent out into the woods with a group of whippets, off leash. His father was a veterinarian, filling Bart’s early years with knowledge and compassion for animals. Bart naturally became a calm, intuitive pack leader.

Bart grew up in a home filled with dogs, his parents bred whippets. As a young boy in the Netherlands, Bart was often sent out into the woods with a group of whippets, off leash. His father was a veterinarian, filling Bart’s early years with knowledge and compassion for animals. Bart naturally became a calm, intuitive pack leader.
Before walking dogs, Bart had two very successful careers:
Youngest Licensed Pharmacist: Bart became the youngest pharmacist in the Netherlands, fully licensed and board- certified at age 26. He specialized in patient care, but when insurance companies changed the role of a pharmacist, Bart realized he wasn’t fulfilled and sought a new passion.
International Dressage Rider & Trainer: Bart turned his lifelong passion for horses into a professional career in the USA, training numerous championship-winning riders and developing top young horses, including one that competed at the Olympics.
After years of success, Bart took a step back to reflect on what truly brought him joy. Remembering his tranquil child- hood adventures with dogs, Bart made a shift. “I remembered my happy times with our dogs growing up. I thought to myself: I am good at it, AND I am helping others out in the process. AND it brings me peace:
